History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Imperial Naval Intelligence maintains a regional records office on Fosey.[2]

Total population is around 9 million including around 750,000 Llellewyloly. A feudal technocracy of Guilds rule, with advancement by competence and seniority. All conducted business is controlled by the various Guilds and often many different Guilds are brought in to finalized the different parts of a brokered deal. All firearms except shotguns are prohibited as well as Psionic drugs.

The population is clustered around the rim of the main inland sea in a series of small cities, while the large inland deserts are barely explored. The desert temperature varies from 46°C to -70°C depending on the location from the equator and time of day. The landlocked sea and the surrounding limited agricultural area has mild temperatures.

The interior has an Aboriginal population of desert nomads that are shunned by the general population. The Aboriginal peoples speak a derelict with traces of Vilani and Zdetl. They communicate with nature through the belief of the Universe being as one whole. It is rumored that they are direct descendants of the ancients and have relics of galactic age. It is rumored that the Garden of Light existed on Fosey.
