I just removed a bad link (to a ransom site) from the New Releases Template. I noticed that the news was quite old. What should be done?

I post product news at the Zhodani Base facebook page. Should I help with the news here, or should someone more familiar with editing here do it after looking at the Zhodani Base facebook page?

Could it be done using a script?
