Is there any way to encourage people to make better use of the preview function? I mean, we can all make a mistake or two from time to time and end up posting a couple of extra edits, but having every other article feature a dozen or a score of tiny successive edits shouldn't be necessary. I understand if Thomas is reluctant to throw his weight about -- I've been reluctant to bring up the subject myself -- but how about giving contributors who post a dozen successive edits a nudge and an explanation of how to use the preview function? I think once again you have made an excellent point. I will endeavor to use the appropriate feature as instructed. Ronald B. Kline, Jr. (talk)

I'll try to use it. But just a quick question - how important is it? Do multiple edits have an impact (other than log readability) that I'm not aware of? Mitchberg (talk) 17:45, 24 September 2014 (EDT)

Sorry. I edit a number of pages at once and it's easier to save multiple times (multiple edits) to ensure that I don't lose data if a save doesn't take. I tried the preview function and found it unwieldly. - Maksim-Smelchak. 205.225.192.66 14:06, 14 January 2015 (EST)
