The Flyer class Diplomatic Courier is a TL–13 starship designed as a Diplomatic Courier.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is a streamlined needle wedge with Jump-3 and 5Gs acceleration, it is tasked with quickly and safely transporting members of the diplomatic corps to their critical missions for the Darrian people. It is a very small ship used by diplomats, couriers, and other important persons.
The Flyer also appears to be lightly armed.
It has no subcraft, but there are airlocks for smallcraft docking.
It only has room for one pilot, plus some cargo.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
These of recent construction at TL–13, they are not the most advanced ships around. They have served admirably in their prescribed role during several frontier conflicts. Failure has usually resulted from when they are pushed into missions for which they were not designed. Most headquarters units want a group of these ships on call, at peak readiness at all times for when urgent messages and negotiations are required to defuse a crisis situation.
