A Flare is a handheld signalling device.
- It is a chemical flare device.
Description (Specifications)
A flare is a tube packed with chemicals that burn very brightly or give off smoke, usually to attract attention in an emergency.
- Different colors of smoke or light may denote different meanings.
- Some flares may have an audible component (typically a whistle or a loud bang).
At higher tech levels, chemical flares may be replaced by Laser Flares.
