Federation of Ilelish
The Federation of Ilelish was the formal name Dulinor's faction during the Rebellion from 1117 to 1130.
Goals
Dulinor's aim was to have himself recognized as the legitimate Emperor of the Third Imperium (by having his claim to the throne through Right of Assassination recognized, and by defeating his opponents militarily); by extension this was the goal of the Federation. In terms of political philosophy, the Federation aimed for more involvement of the populations of its constituent worlds in the formation of policy and more involvement by the Imperial government in the affairs of those worlds. This was in opposition to the traditional Imperial aim to rule the space between worlds, but remain uninvolved with the affairs of those worlds themselves.
History & Background (Dossier)
The Federation came into existence in 1117 with Dulinor's return to Dlan after assassinating Strephon on Capitol in 1116. It remained as a first-tier faction in the Rebellion until the release of Virus in 1130. Its entire 13 years of existence were spent at war, primarily with Lucan's forces, but secondarily with those of the "real" Strephon and those of Daibei.
