Evolit is a hellworld with an inhospitable environment that makes conditions difficult for most sophonts.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations. Those who dwell on such worlds often form intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Parsalax Subsector of Extent Sector.
Astrography and Planetology
This star system is detailed using the Fringian Variant System Description.
- It forms a part of the Sithula Sprawl.
- It is a member of the Imohep Cluster.

System Data
Evolit System
The primary is an unnamed ordinary red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.0334 Sols, a mass of 0.4574 Sols, and a diameter of 711,000 km. (I) Evolit orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (II) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (III) a sparse stony planetoid belt, (IV) a ringed large gas giant, and (V) a small gas giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data
(I) Evolit
(I) Evolit is designated the mainworld. It orbits the primary at a mean distance of 0.22 AU (32.9 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 55 days 17 hours: it is tidally locked to the primary. The axial tilt is 3 degrees. Evolit has a diameter of 8,438 km, a density of 6.31 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.76 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of the primary cause frequent geological activity. Its atmosphere is rated as Exotic, with a mean surface pressure of 0.76 bar and a composition of 94% nitrogen (N2), 4% carbon dioxide (CO2), 1% argon (Ar), and 1% neon (Ne), water vapor (H2O), abiotic oxygen (O2), ammonia (NH3) and other trace gases. The world has no hydrosphere. Mean surface temperature: 85°C. The atmosphere is very active and powerful weather systems driven by the star sweep across the globe. The climate is static.
