• Its surface is ice-capped with little or no atmosphere and nearly all of its water frozen.
• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
• This is a frozen world, with a climate of extremely low temperatures.
• It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Nisor Subsector of Far Home Sector.

Galf-Esreth System

The primary is Galf, a tiny dwarf star. It has a luminosity of 0.00003 Sols, a mass of 1.11 Sols, and a diameter of 8,350 km. (II-I) Esreth, designated the mainworld, and (II-II) an exotic atmosphere bigworld form the outer system – orbital position (I) is empty. Neither world retains satellites.

(II-I) Esreth

(II-I) Esreth is designated the mainworld. It orbits Galf at a mean distance of 0.34 AU (50.9 million km), within the outer system. It has an orbital period of 68 days 18 hours: it is tidally locked to Galf. The axial tilt is 8 degrees. Esreth has a diameter of 2,896 km, a density of 4.93 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.20 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of Geth cause frequent geological activity. Its atmosphere is rated as Vacuum. Approximately 9% of the surface is covered in sheets of crystalline water-ice. Mean surface temperature: -238°C.
