Erena is a rich, agricultural world with improving living conditions due to a bustling agro-economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- This world is rich with high-grade living conditions, a good climate, and a non-harmful environment. Immigration registration for this world is always in high demand.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Aredian Subsector of Far Home Sector.

System Data
Ease-Erena System
The primary is Ease, an ordinary white main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 4.42 Sols, a mass of 1.38 Sols, and a diameter of 2.031 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a vacuum worldlet, (II) a very thin atmosphere inner world, (III) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world, and (IV) a dense atmosphere stormworld. (V) Erena orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (VI) a small gas giant, (VII) a dense rocky planetoid belt, (VIII) a large gas giant, (IX) a trace atmosphere iceworld, and (X) a small ice giant form the outer system. Most of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data
(V) Erena
(V) Erena is designated the mainworld and orbits Ease at a mean distance of 1.71 AU (255.8 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 1 year 330 days and a rotation period of 19.5 hours. The axial tilt is 16.5 degrees. Erena has a diameter of 16,388 km, a density of 5.97 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 1.39 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Dense, with a mean surface pressure of 2.33 bar and a composition of 79% nitrogen (N2), 20% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 54% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.25m. Mean surface temperature: 24°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Warm and experiences minor seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is extremely active and violent weather systems, driven by the star and the seas, scour the globe.
Satellites
Erena retains two natural satellites, a cratered vacuum worldlet named Detso and an exotic atmosphere hospitable world named Vuro:
- (Va) Detso (UWP YS00000-0, orbiting at 9 Diameters/145,000 km)
- (Vb) Vuro (UWP G5A2365-9, orbiting at 45 Diameters/740,000 km)
Mainworld Geography and Topography
Total surface area: 844 million km², Water surface area: 456 million km², Land surface area: 388 million km².
Native Lifeforms
Ease-Erena System
The hot marginally hospitable stormworld lying in orbital position (IV) (within the H– region of the inner system) has primitive extremophile native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that thrive in the extremely harsh conditions.
Erena, the mainworld, has extensive, abundant native life, with complex organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
No other world in the system is known to have native life.
History & Background (Dossier)

World starport
Erena has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World technology level
Erena possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World government
Erena is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referendum, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.
