The star Epsilon Tauri (otherwise known by the names Ain or Oculus Boreus) is a yellow-orange giant star of spectral type K0, and a member of the Hyades Cluster.
Description (Specifications)
The Epsilon Tauri star system lies approximately 45.0pc from Terra, and is located in a Rimward/Rimspinward direction from Terra at bearing 177.6o Galactic Longitude and -19.9o South Galactic Latitude.

The star Epsilon Tauri lends its name to the Epsilon Tauri Subsector, an alternate name for the Carcosa Subsector
