This class is equipped for long range operations required along the Distant Fringe. The cargo bay can be converted to quarters or for lowberths to move military personnel. It can be used to deliver supplies into warzones and is armed and armored to protect itself.

The occupational forces have used them to ferry supplies to garrisons in the area of the Dependent Worlds. This takes advantage of the domestic shipbuilding abilities and shipyard capacity of Entremis. They are tough and durable vessels which have yielded dependable service thus far.
