System Data

Delmont-Entremis System

The primary is Delmont, a white giant star. It has a luminosity of 49 Sols, a mass of 6.8 Sols, and a diameter of 6.818 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a extremely hot large gas giant, (V) a sparse stony planetoid belt, and (VI) a trace atmosphere worldlet – orbital positions (II), (III) and (IV) are empty. (VII) Entremis orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (VIII) a vacuum worldlet, (IX) a small gas giant, (X) a small ice giant, and (XI) an exotic atmosphere bigworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Rialto Subsystem

The companion is Rialto, an ordinary red main sequence star that lies approximately 760 AU from Delmont. It has a luminosity of 0.0268 Sols, a mass of 0.4258 Sols, and a diameter of 658,000 km. (I) a thin atmosphere hospitable world orbits within the habitable zone. (II) a vacuum worldlet, (III) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, and (IV) a vacuum iceworld form the outer system. The two outer worlds retain satellites.

(VII) Entremis

(VII) Entremis is designated the mainworld and orbits Delmont at a mean distance of 5.1 AU (763 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 4 years 152 days and a rotation period of 19 hours 15 minutes. The axial tilt is 24 degrees. Entremis has a diameter of 11438 km, a density of 5.69 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.92 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as a Standard, with a mean surface pressure of 1.15 bar and a composition of 72% nitrogen (N₂), 27% oxygen (O₂), and 1% argon (Ar), carbon dioxide (CO₂), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 64% of the surface is covered in oceans of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.25m. Mean surface temperature: 15°C. The atmosphere is dynamic and powerful weather systems, driven by the star and the oceans, sweep across the globe. The climate is seasonal and the environment follows regular patterns during the local year. Each season lasts approximately 400 days.

Satellite

Entremis retains a single natural satellite, a vacuum worldlet named Mobius:

Native Lifeforms

Entremis, the mainworld, has extensive, abundant native life, with complex organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

The temperate hospitable world lying in orbital position (I) around the companion star (within the habitable zone) has extensive native life, consisting of microscopic organisms, stromatolite-parallels and primitive flora that can be found in almost every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

World starport

Entremis has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
