New Errata[edit]
Resolved - see below.
Errata addressed[edit]
This page contains the known, but currently unaddressed errata in the Encyclopaedia Dagudashaag. The current version is 2.4iv.
Updated and resolved in Version 2.4v (2.4iv is current version)[edit]
- Karsa has a primary of "K6 IV", but this type does not exist in the possible world generation systems. Changed to a K4 IV, which is the smallest sub-giant stars.
- Kimarla has a primary of "M2 IV", but this type does not exist in the possible world generation systems. Recommendation is to change this to a "M2 III" class variable star, which would explain (some of) the failures of the colonization efforts.
- Shammud has a primary of "K5 IV" but this type does not exist in the possible world generation systems. Changed to a K4 IV
- Shuada has a primary of "K9 IV" but this type does not exist in the possible world generation systems. Changed to a K4 IV
- p.354: last sentence of the first paragraph: "Urshu and sharp tasting berry" -> The "and" should be "a".
- Rabir, Arnakhish (2402) page 287 - The write up in the encyclopedia doesn't reflect the paragraph in Signak-GK 10 (page 59) and the planetary description in the Marginata Shrimp article on p.17
- homeworld in the original article should have been Uurku, Arnakhish (2405) not Rabir (2402) which is a desert world. Both Rabir and Uurku entries have now been updated and will be resolved in Version 2.4iv
- Rathas, Mimu (0210) page 289 - The date of the discovery of the stone wall in -105 doesn't agree with the source date (105) from SGK 5, page 48
- Sagikii, page 303. The title for the article is missing the subsector (Shallows)
- Ia'mruk Sia. <ISIA> page 153, refers to the Skai'uss (leading council of the ConSentency). Kiasku, Duke Skuissch*r (page 199) refers to Skai’i’uss, and Skai’i'uss article (page 326). Well spotted.
- Sivvista, Kuriishe (3120), page 325. The T5 Second Survey has Eraki (2920) as the subsector capital.
- Sabaash Trail, page 297; listed under Riimsha, Sapphyre (1836); Should this actually be Sabhaash Trail? Named after the junction at Sabhaash (world).
- Repeat entry found - Gliimr'ash Hiaqq, Lord High Senator (Ka) Bh'aedl, page 132 is deleted and Hiaqq, Lord High Senator (Ka) Bh'aedl Gliimr'ash, page 149 remains.
Unresolved but known issues[edit]
Note: GISHMARCo & Larsen, Remnants (1526) have not been relocated alphabetically at present due to major formatting issues.
- Diablo, Kuriishe (2612)- There are four worlds mentioned that need to be formatted in the accepted world name layout.
- The entry for Aadshas, Iiradu (3004) makes no reference to the "Sharpi" war or colonization of Duukhaa.
- Shammud/Zeda (Dagudashaag 0223) p.313. This world is listed as part of the Amec Trade Protectorate, but not given an Amec name. Is this intentional? Yes.
- Tilmes, Pact (2324) (p.342) is listed as "Tilmea" on TravellerMap, and hence here on the wiki. The Encyclopadia agrees with the write-up in Signal-GK 2, as Tilmes.
- p.354: The world name "Ursushur" is noted in Signal-GK 13 library data, Traveller Map, and the wiki as "Urshushur".
- p.362: Uurku. This is a weird case of two sources colliding, both from Signal-GK 10. The world article (p.47,60) shows a small mining world as a gas giant satellite. The Article on the Dracaena Maginata shrimp (p. 17) shows an earthlike world named "Rabir". I'm thinking these are two different worlds in the same system.
