Ekhiysus is a non-industrial Aslan Hierate world located in Khtoiakta Subsector of Dark Nebula, with control split between multiple clans. Home to the University of Khaolus, one of the largest Aslan institutions of higher education.

The mainworld's Starport is not a true frontier station, but has been assigned a class E rating due to the limited demand for a larger installation. Refined fuel is available on a limited basis.
