Ealriysilrai was reknowned in the antebellum period for the skill of its weaponsmiths and artists. Despite its remoteness, the world still does brisk business throughout the Spinward Extents, exporting its fine wares as far as the Vargr Splinters and the Regency Frontier. The world is especially famous for its ability to blend advanced technology with traditional artforms, and for creating a delicate balance between functionality and aesthetics. Its primary style is often referred to as "Aslan Art Deco" by admiring human customers.
