Duwamish League/Rebellion

The newest and most precarious of Diaspora's polities, the Duwamish League sits astride the Duwamish Belt, the main jump-1 route to trailing from the Hjiri subsector. It owes its survival to two factors: the fact that the Cumberan Confederation has been subsidizing the League to maintain a spinward-trailing route against the day when the Solomani Confederation cuts off their trade through Confederation lanes, and the fact that airless Alki (Diaspora 1136) is the site of a forward deployed naval mini-depot, abandoned by Lucan's forces at the end of the Black War.
