Duukhaa is a ring of many small planetoids not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. The governance of this world is from Daas (Dagudashaag 3107). It is a member of Third Imperium in the Iiradu Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Duukhaa, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Shimu Khivli.

System Data
The Duukhaa colony is based within an asteroid belt orbiting twin central stars.
Mainworld Data
Over time gravitational forces and the shepherding of the four large gas giants have broken up and sorted the planetoids within the belt, to provide rich opportunities for miners.

History and background
Much of the area surrounding the starport is devoted to the University of Planetary Bodies (UPB) with a campus comprising over fifty thousand students and staff drawn from across the subsector. The university has widely renowned research facilities in the fields of asteroid and planetoid creation, mapping, and mining with associated courses in geology, metallurgy, astronomy, and astrography.
Imperial Landed Nobility
Duukhaa, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.
World Starport
Duukhaa has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

Historical Data
Colonized starting in 620 from Aadshas (Dagudashaag 3004) in the wake of a bitter, pan-global war. The colony was proposed as a unifying effort for the world by Haako Duukhaa, the first head of the unified planetary council. It was also a way to exile the more extreme elements from the world.
Following Duukhaa's death in 650, the system was renamed in her honor. The capital is a 15km nickel-iron asteroid situated as the largest member of the trailing Trojan group of the inner most gas giant. Large parts of the asteroid have been fusion tunneled by miners and these, combined with natural fissures, provide extensive and comfortable accommodations for the majority of the one million inhabitants of the system.
