Dunmag, originally designated District 191, began settlement around 140 and was admitted to the Imperium in 360. Dunmag still bears the scars of Deneb's Bad War, fought in the 600s. The Humbolt family, concerned that the fleets of Atsah Subsector were using Dunmag as stepping-stones to the Inar and Vincennes subsectors, rendered several worlds unsuitable for human habitation, such as Andalia (Deneb 1714), Twinian (Deneb 2013) and Pagamin (Deneb 2412).
