Subsector F of Trojan Reach Sector. The Dpres Subsector is named after its first human-colonized world.

  • There are no multi-world governments in the area, but there are 3 Imperial client states.
  • The coreward end is part of the Outrim Void, including a large, almost starless dust cloud known as the Trojan Bight.
  • The population of the Dpres Subsector is largely Imperial human, with some Aslan on Torrance, Delta Theta, and Lacidaeus.

Description[edit]

Dpres Subsector is anarchic and lightly populated, with no multi-world confederations or interstellar governments. The coreward end of the subsector is dominated by the Trojan Bight, a starless region of space. The Tktk tell legends of a time when warring gods 'put out the eyes of night', and fringe scientists speculate about an Ancient weapon capable of snuffing out a star, and that there might be frozen planets in the Bight that were lost when their star was destroyed.

There are three Imperial client states in Dpres -- Gabriel and Dostoevsky both feature research centres, while Dpres itself is an outpost of the Imperium intended to defend shipping and civilise the subsector. The Gabriel facility specialises in genetic engineering, while Dostoevsky's researchers explore an underwater site believed to be of Ancient origin.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Dpres, subsector F of Trojan Reach contains 18 worlds with an estimated population of 5 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,680, and a total economy is BCr9,215. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr80 through 16 starports (1 Class A, 8 Class B, 3 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 20,090 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Dpres maintain one Naval base. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 5 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Gabriel (Trojan Reach 1114) and Tyr (Trojan Reach 1518).

Dpres, subsector F of Trojan Reach contains 26 stars and 204 identified planets; ten monostellar systems, eight binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 16 of the 18 systems (88%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, four Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, six Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Dpres has an estimated population of 5 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population world is Tlazolteotl (Trojan Reach 1514). The population consists of 2 sophont groups.

2 identified sophont populations in Dpres

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]

There are 14 Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Dpres with an estimated population of 5 billion.

Client state, Third Imperium[edit]

The Client states of the Third Imperium in Dpres encompasses three worlds with an estimated population of 3 million.

Non-Aligned, unclaimed[edit]

There are one Non-Aligned unclaimed worlds in Dpres with an estimated population of less than 1 million.
