Subsector E of Halcyon Sector. It contains 15 systems with a total population of 4.828 billion Sophonts, and is named for the heavily populated Farin system (0819 Halcyon). Rasand (0717 Halcyon) is the homeworld of the Esaran – the Rasand Link star lane terminates at the system. The subsector lies on the edge of the Moat Rifts.
