Dillard-Purcell Expedition

The Dillard-Purcell Expedition was an expedition into the unexplored trailing regions of the Empty Stars.

Description / Specifications

A private expedition, funded in part by the University of Tal Varisa, that sought to explore the regions to trailing of the Distant Fringe during the late 53rd Century. Its original purpose was to study the Cauldron Nebula.

• the expedition was led by Evlyn Dillard and Brooker Purcell.

History & Background / Dossier

The expedition lasted for more than a decade and was for a time considered to be lost. A few survivors returned to Fringian space with information on a barbaric and insular polity, the Lords of the High Realm.
