History & Background (Dossier)
For centuries Denio has traded successfully with the Mercantile Concord. This has led to a good level of economic and technological development for this world, and a high standard of living. Denio has remained balkanized, with four major powers on the planet.
As of 1116 Souris has made political overtures to Denio's major powers to join them as part of the fledgling Principality of Souris. Souris has made guarantees that if Denio joins, their leadership will have nobility status and be given worlds and systems to rule beyond their own.
World Starport (Sp)
Denio has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
