Debeeda is an icy, nonindustrial world, whose surface is ice-capped and with nearly all of its water frozen.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Foralin Subsector of Far Home Sector.

System data
The primary is Jakob, a dim red subdwarf star. It has a luminosity of 0.002 Sols, a mass of 0.104 Sols and a diameter of 145,000 km. (I, II) two small rocky vacuum worlds, (III) Gadanna, a large gas giant; (IIIe) Debeeda is its outer satellite and is designated the mainworld, (IV) a dense stony planetoid belt, (V, VI) two small gas giants, and (VII) a small icy world form the outer system. All of the gas giants retain families of satellites.
(III) Gadanna
(III) Gadanna is a large gas giant that orbits Juno at a mean distance of 0.72 AU (107.7 million km) and has an orbital period of X year XX.5 days. It has a diameter of 96,000km and is a banded reddish-brown colour. It retains a family of five major satellites of which the outer, (IIIe) Debeeda, is designated the mainworld. Large storms rise from deep within the interior and emerge between the bands, rotating around the world for weeks or months before fading.
(IIIe) Debeeda
(IIIe) Debeeda is the outer of the five major moons of (III) Gadanna and is designated as the mainworld. Debeeda orbits its parent world at a mean distance of 40 diameters (2.35 million km), with an orbital period of 75 days 18 hours and a rotation period of 23.25 hours. It has an axial tilt of 1 degree. It has a diameter of 4,680 km, a density of 6.44 g/cm³ and a surface gravity of 0.43 G. Tidal stresses caused by the gravitational pull of Gadanna cause occasional seismic activity. It retains an atmosphere rated as Trace, with a surface pressure of 0.05 bar and a composition of 97% nitrogen, 2% carbon dioxide, and 1% argon, neon and other trace gases. Around 6% of the surface is covered in a crust of frozen carbon dioxide (dry ice). Mean surface temperature: -130°C.
Mainworld geography and topography
Total surface area: 69 million km², Land surface area: 65 million km², Ice coverage: 4 million km².

History & Background (Dossier)
No information yet available.
World starport
Debeeda has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World technology level
Debeeda possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Advanced automobiles.
- Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
- Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
- Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World government
Debeeda is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
