Dablrel is a poor, nonindustrial world.

  • As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
  • This world has few prospects for economic development.
  • It is a member of the Zhodani Consulate and part of Colonnade Province in the Issoudun Subsector of Vanguard Reaches Sector.
  • This world features an associated Zhodani Exploration Base.
  • This is the homeworld of the Zhdianshe sophonts.

Mainworld Topography and Geography[edit]

Dablrel is a slowly dying world, with only a few briny seas remaining in the basins of what were once large oceans. The cliffside dwellings of the native Zhdianshe were once continental shelves or underwater mountain ranges.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

As full members of the Zhodani Consulate, the Zhdianshe participate in interstellar society, despite their overall low population.

As a technological race with psionics as part of their culture, and familiar with Zhodani explorers, the Zhdianshe applied for membership in the Consulate. The approval of High Councillor Chyia Nedlkel allowed their entry. The nature of Zhdianshe society, with all individuals afforded psionic training, was a stated precedent for Chyia Nedlkel's controversial reforms on the world that now bears his name.

World Starport[edit]

Dablrel has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Population (P)[edit]

4,000,000 Zhdianshe

World Government (G)[edit]

Dablrel is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referendum, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.

World Law Level (L)[edit]

Dablrel has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

World Technology Level (TL)[edit]

Dablrel possesses a Technology Level of TL–6.
