History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The short-lived interstellar empire of the Zhupek Shirkaa arose here.
In -2898, a coup by an underground democratic group on D'rarayi killed the last Zhupek-Kehnai of the Zhupek Shirkaa.
Centuries later, a targeted attack by Gebhara wiped out several of the plants and microscopic animals at the base of D'rarayi's food chain. Large portions of the native ecology collapsed, and D'rarayi was thrown into a scramble for planetwide survival.
By 1105, a small corporate administration controls this world.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
D'rarayi has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
90
World Government (G)[edit]
D'rarayi is governed by a Corporate Polity with a single corporation with a typical corporate structure as a government. A company town, or world. The typical corporate run world usually has a single purpose. Examples include mining, agriculture, or other kinds of resource extraction. But rather than a simple base of operations, there are facilities for housing workers and their families including hospitals, schools, and other infrastructure. How, or if, the children of the workers are incorporated into the workforce varies with companies. The corporation running the world may be a subsidiary of a larger interstellar corporation.
World Technology Level (TL)[edit]
D'rarayi possesses a Technology Level of TL–6.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Telephone, radio, and television.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fission power generation, advanced water and wind generation of electricity.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, early ATV's, and dedicated AFV's.
- Water: Amphibious vehicles, improved submersibles, and early SCUBA gear.
- Air: Early jet aircraft and rotorcraft VTOL's.
- Space: Early unmanned rocket delivery systems and early manned orbital rockets.
