Coreward Drift

The Coreward Drift is a Shadow Rift lying within Perfection Sector and Amarada Sector, within the Empty Stars.

• It is a feature of the Empty Stars.
• It is an astrographic feature and a rift.

Details / Specifications

The Coreward Drift measures around 10 parsecs spinward-trailing by around 50 parsecs coreward-rimward. It merges with the Entropic Void in Amarada Sector and with the Rimward Deep in Perfection Sector.

Anomalies

A number of anomalies lie within the broad region where the Coreward Drift meets the Entropic Void:

• Amaric Shoal
• Wraith Shoal

History

The Drift was first charted by ultra-long-range scans performed by vessels from the Last Armada sometime around 2255AD. Its exact position and dimensions were plotted by the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program between 5520AD and 5550AD.
