Description (Specifications)[edit]

Manufactured from wooden laths, a waterproofed covering and some thongs (in its original form) or some higher-tech material (in later recreations), the whole thing is light enough to carry and sturdy enough to make short sea voyages on calmer days.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The oldest form of boat known - an almost hemispherical bowl of boat large enough to carry at least one Sophont and powered by said Sophont using an Oar. (Rafts are the only watercraft that are older).
