The Consolidation of Turin is a Solomani Confederation affiliation of 10 Christian-dominated worlds within Denebola, Ziusudra and Veracruz subsectors in Alpha Crucis Sector.
Goals
The majority of their citizens follow the Turin rite churches, which include the Turin Church, the Solomani Catholic Church, and the Church of the First Cross.
History & Background (Dossier)
The Consolidation began with a group of religious emigres who fled Terra during the Interstellar Wars. Bearing many relics and cultural icons with them, the Turin settlers never wavered in their piety.
- During the Long Night, the organization held together an influential pocket empire. In -364 the Declaration of the Consolidation of Turin united several worlds near Turin under the banner of the Church of the First Cross.
- In 411 the Consolidation launched the brutal Santa Maria Crusade against heretics in Veracruz subsector, which was halted by Imperial diplomacy in 415.
