Cohaine Futures (CFI) is the largest corporation in the Far Frontiers Sector.

Description (Portfolio)

Cohaine Futures (CFI) specializes in communication systems and financing, controlling approximately 3/4ths of the sector's smaller business credit loans and supplying computer systems for planetary and personal use within the sector.

Commercial Competencies

CFI is currently involved in high level research and development projects in artificial intelligence, and is unofficially said to have already developed prototype models of cybernetic units.

  • These self thinking computers could be used, it is speculated, in human-hazardous situations such as conducting long range hyperspace jumps or directing the exploratory and terraforming operations of the new colonization projects in the Inverness Subsector and elsewhere.

Governance & Organization

CFI is owned and controlled exclusively by a sector noble family Cohaine, currently lead by the elder Prince Thasallah Cohaine.

  • His expected successor is the younger Prince Damethon Cohaine.
