Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]

Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]

Basic Ship Characteristics [2]
No. Category Remarks
1. Tonnage / Hull 9,000 tons. These "Destroyers" are build as an incredibly dense, armored streamlined needle/wedge hull, wrapped around the largest meson spinal mounted gun that would fit. At this size, sacrifices had to be made.
2. Crew 100 crew. Casualties are replaced from the ship's frozen watch.
3. Performance As they are intended mostly for internal security, jump range was limited to jump 1 with enough fuel for two jumps. The maneuver drive was recently expanded to a 4 G rated drive. Despite the massive power plant installed, the majority of the power flows into the main weapon and the screens. As a result the ship has no agility.
4. Electronics Several back-ups are installed, in the event of battle damage, the extra Model 9 fib computer adjacent to the auxiliary command bridge can help keep the ship in the fight.
5. Hardpoints xTBD hardpoints.
6. Armament The weapon load, aside from the ship-killer meson gun, are eight compact but deadly missile bays, equipped for nuclear ordinance. There is no room for any turreted weapon systems.
7. Defenses They must have faith in their armor, as the design lacks any form of active point defense. Redundant nuclear dampers and meson screens are also installed.
8. Craft A single 25 ton away boat serves as the only utility vessel.
9. Fuel Treatment Equipped with scoops and fuel purification gear, they are capable of ocean refueling.
10. Cost MCrTBD.
11. Construction Time TBD months to build, TBD months in quantity.
12. Remarks Other Equipment:
