Chrysolite is an important, high-population industrial world located in Capella Subsector of the Solomani Rim. The system is a member of the Solomani Confederation.
Chrysolite is a colony of Twylo (Solomani Rim 1034). Chrysolite’s society is very similar to that of Twylo, although living conditions are much more pleasant, and the division between elite and underclass was never as pronounced. As a result, social reform is proceeding more quickly.
The planet is so warm that its oceans are evaporating and the upper part of Chrysolite’s atmosphere is saturated with water, making the planet’s skies a place of astonishing beauty and violence. The landscape is scarred by erosion, and the oceans are brown with silt.
During the Interstellar Wars period Chrysolite was a necessary stopping point between the Sol Subsector and the Near Boötes Cluster, and between Sionnach (Solomani Rim 0632) and the other worlds of Jardin Subsector.
