Character Sheets are part of the game mechanic
Metahistory[edit]
Each player's characters have, since the very first version of Traveller, been recorded. The forms on which the character's details are captured and maintained being known as Character Sheets or Character Cards
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Each version of Traveller has used differing forms, but these records all detail:
- The Attributes of the character
- The various Characteristics of the character
- The Skills available to the character
- The Equipment available to the character
- The Money available to the character
They may also detail:
- The personal history of the character to date including Awards and Decorations
- The Associates of the character
Suppliers[edit]
Character sheets have (in some versions) been supplied in the rules set (examples listed by page in the sources below), and sometimes not. Various suppliers have also published their ideas of usable forms. e.g. Character Datafile and Mongoose Traveller: Character Pack for Mongoose Traveller
