The Chamax are a deadly predator, named after the world they were found on.
Physiology & Ecology
These hive-living, quick-breeding creatures are infamously destructive when removed from an environment containing their natural predator. They stripped their planet of biomass when the natives drove said predator to apparent extinction.
Life Cycle & Reproduction
Life stages:
- First Brood
- Juveniles
- Hunters
- Maternals
Diet & Trophics
The Chamax are voracious eaters, but have one natural enemy, the Edafosax, an enormous (and apparently extinct) burrower capable of swallowing many Chamax at a time. Edafosax could overcome all but the largest nests of Chamax.
History & Background (Dossier)
There might be an evolutionary relationship with the Krvn.
Travellers' Aid Society Advisory
Chamax are quite dangerous; avoiding them altogether is highly recommended.
