The Chamax are a deadly predator.

Physiology & Ecology

In "The Chamax Plague," the characters encounter the alien race of the Chamax, deadly predators. In "Horde," the Chamax invade a planet and the characters have to support the local inhabitants.

Some Imperial scientists conjecture that the Chamax are originally from Raschev/Reidan (Foreven 3230), while others maintain that Alenzar/Reidan (Foreven 3229) is the Chamax homeworld.

Diet & Trophics

The Chamax are voracious monsters (creatures), but have one natural enemy, the Edafosax, an enormous burrower capable of swallowing several Chamax in a single bite. Edafosax can overcome all but the largest nests of Chamax.
