A Centauroid is the typoid classification of creatures exhibiting characteristics similar to creatures from Terran myths known as centaurs. These myths describe centaurs as half man, half horse.
Description (Specifications)
A centauroid is distinguished by a number of characteristics:
- Minimum two segments, one vertical, the other horizontal
- Terran mythological definition is a hexapod with four locomotary limbs and two manipulatory limbs

K'kree or Centaurs?
When the K'kree were first encountered by Terrans, they were initially referred to as the Centaurs because of their centauroid body plan. They remain the most famous and well known centauroids within Charted Space.
