The Castor asteroid belt is rich in metals, ices and simple organics.

  • It has many large planetoids suitable for habitat construction.

Sextenary Star System

Castor is a sextenary (sextuple) star system, composed of a double close-binary (quaternary) system Castor AB, orbited by an additional far binary pair Castor C.
