• This world is also the overall capital of an interstellar government with the massive extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
• This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or over technology standards for Charted Space.
• It is a member of the Sylean Worlds, a cultural region and full member state of the Third Imperium in the Core Subsector of Core Sector in the Domain of Sylea.

• This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
• This world has a nearby Imperial Way Station.
• Prior to the founding of the Third Imperium, this world was named Sylea, and was home to the Syleans, a minor human race.
• About 50% of the population is composed of Syleans.
• About 50% of the population is composed of other humans and non-human sophonts.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)

• Central world of the Imperium and seat of government since its founding. Situated in the center of the Imperium, Capital's astrographical position has proven of prime importance as a communications hub, a cultural center, and an industrial focus.
• Capital is home to the Imperial Guard, Imperial Palace, Moot, and the Moot Spire among other well-known points of interest within the Third Imperium.

World Data

The planet is a pleasant world, 7,600km in diameter and with a surface gravity of approximately 0.7G.

• The atmosphere is a dense mixture of oxygen and nitrogen.
• Three fifths of the planetary surface is covered by water oceans, with five major continents and a number of large islands and archipelagos.

• Adjacent to the Moot Spire is a building holding the headquarters of the Order of Starship and Crown.
• Adjacent to the Imperial Palace is the headquarters of the Honorable Order of the Emperor's Guard.
• Adjacent to the Headquarters of the IISS is the headquarters of the Order of the Arrow.
• The building formerly occupied by the Sylean Grand Senate now holds the headquarters of the Ancient and Preeminent Order of Sylea.

• Once the current political turmoil has settled down and the Imperium is reunited, Capital will again take its place as the centerpiece of human civilization.
