System Data
Zhimaway is a gas giant in the Sylea system. [2]
Mainworld Data
The planet is a pleasant world, 7,600km in diameter and with a surface gravity of approximately 0.7G.
- The atmosphere is a dense mixture of oxygen and nitrogen.
- Three fifths of the planetary surface is covered by water oceans, with five major continents and one minor continent including five large islands and nine archipelagos.
- Capital has a rotational period of 24h 4m 1s and an orbital period of 364.97 standard days, with an axial tilt of approximately 20.5°.
Mainworld Size (S)
No information yet available.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)
Capital has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)
No information yet available.
Mainworld Geography & Topography
Capital (the planet once known as Sylea) is a moderate-sized world with a lot of people, compounded by the fact that a little more than half its surface is water. A lot means eighty billion; moderate-sized means, after subtracting water, about eight billion hectares.
- 10% A tenth is devoted to food production (long ago, that was two-tenths, but that was long ago): it is impractical (if not impossible) to import food for billions of people.
- 20% Two-tenths is mountain, canyon, rock, and crag.
- 20% Another two-tenths is snowlands: both support scattered communities, but certainly no appreciable population density.
- 50% Half the land is urban, four billion hectares for 80 billion people: perhaps 20 per hectare, 2,000 per square kilometer. Terribly crowded, oppressive, single-level urban areas make do with such densities over a few hundred square kilometers. Capital maintains such densities across all its settled lands. Yet. For many, Capital is a pleasant environment, an attractive community. High-rise and plunging arcologies house millions in high-density comfort and safety: the masses of the bureaucracy that drive the engines of the empire must live in comfort and safety.

Native Lifeforms
The world is teeming with life.
Native Sophont (NIL): Syleans
The Syleans are a Minor Human Race, who were contacted by the Vilani and made part of the First Imperium. A small group of rebellious Syleans were kept on reservations.
History & Background (Dossier)
This is a high population world in Core Subsector of Core Sector.
Imperial Landed Nobility (N)

- See: Nobles of Capital
World Starport (Sp)
Capital has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Government (G)
Capital is governed by an Impersonal Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government is another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.

Its per-capita income is therefore 17,986 Credits, nearly three times the Imperial average, reflecting the extra trade and prestige accompanying its political role. As such, it accounts for over 1% of the entire economic output of the Imperium.

Negative Efficiency is worse. Efficiency at -1 or less turn the RUs available negative: the Inefficiencies are so destructive as to make the economy a net drain. Such barriers represent a welfare state; cultural influences which do not value wealth, even physical limitations. On the other hand, since some economies have positive efficiencies: positive multipliers increasing available RU. )

History-Era: Rebellion
Under the divided Imperium, with no emperor officially proclaimed by action of the Moot, Capital is a head without a brain, and the separate domains of the Imperium have been forced to fend for themselves under the independent leadership of their local archdukes.
- Once the current political turmoil has settled down and the Imperium is reunited, Capital will again take its place as the centerpiece of human civilization.
