The Bruhre are a nonhuman technologically competent Imperial race originating on Corve (Daibei 1729).
Physiology
The Bruhre are a massive, hexapodal race who are accustomed to a high atmospheric sulfur content (for example, they find the tainted atmosphere of Loren (Reaver's Deep 2311) breathable, but rather bland and tasteless). Their body chemistry is such as to permit them to eat the plants and animals of Loren with relish; humans find such food highly poisonous.
In fact, Bruhre are noted for eating an incredible range of foods, being known as "living garbage disposers".
Bruhre have a bulbous body, two large, black eyes set far apart, and a large, gaping maw. They can see in a 270⁰ arc, but lack digits or other fine manipulators.
Culture & Society
The Bruhre are a complex and often unfathomable race, bound to a life of ritual and ceremony.
They are also a remarkably intolerant race, and outsiders are expected to comply with their ways totally. For this reason, the Bruhre usually are isolated from the mainstream of other Imperial cultures.
Government & Politics (Leadership)
They have complicated laws covering almost every aspect of their lives; it is said that a Bruhre can go for days on end and never say, do, or think a single thing that is not strictly regulated by law and custom.
