Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Brilliant class Scout is a fairly common exploration and scout ship used by the Enlightened.
- It is a paramilitary ship and a Scout.
Description (Specifications)
They carry enough fuel, internally for a single jump 2, with a jump 2 reserve for strategic withdrawal. They can carry drop tanks with an additional jump 2 as needed. It is an streamlined, saucer fitted with fuel scoops for ocean refueling. This ship is armed with one triple missile turret and one triple beam laser turret. They are fitted with a model 5 fib computer. Despite the massive drives and power plant fitted, which accounts for most of their construction cost, they have some power left over for 2 agility. They are capable of 4Gs of acceleration and the computer's power demands reduces the agility.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
