Breckeon is a poor, nonindustrial hellworld with a population struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants. Survivors often form intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Biika Subsector of Verge Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
- It orbits in the outer system.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
- This world lies on the Sirim Loop.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
Breckeon has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.

System Data
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x5 gas giants.
Mainworld Data
Breckeon orbits in the outer system, beyond the star's narrow habitable zone.
Mainworld Size (S)
Breckeon is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)
Breckeon has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences low temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)
Breckeon has 15-25% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. There may be a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.
- The world's oceans are littered with icebergs and pack ice.
Mainworld Geography and Topography
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)
World Starport (St)
Breckeon has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)
Breckeon has a population of 20,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
World Technology Level (T)
Breckeon possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-2.
World Government (G)
Breckeon is governed by a Participatory Democracy where eligible voters determine laws and policy. What determines an eligible voter varies. There may be smaller councils or regional bodies to write the policies voted on. Leadership of the government and all members of the bureaucracy are determined by voting population.
