Bourne Sector can be located to coreward-trailing of the Distant Fringe proper and characterised by the so-called Moat Rifts. It contains 157 systems and has a listed population of less than 1 million sophonts. Only one subsector (subsector N) is accessible to conventional jump-2 vessels travelling from the Distant Fringe.

  • Anglish. A direct descendant of Fleet Anglic, widely spoken throughout the Distant Fringe. Most people know a few words and phrases of Anglish.
