Bonner is a poor, non-agricultural and preindustrial moderate-population world with over a hundred million, but not yet at a billion sophonts in population size.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- Life is trying on a world like this and inhabitants are constantly working towards developing a viable source of food production.
- This is a hot world, with a climate of high temperatures.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Sephi Hydra Subsector of Aldebaran Sector.

Mainworld Data[edit]
Bonner is a tidally-locked standard-sized world that is a little too close to its star for comfort. It has a thin atmosphere of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and methane provided mainly by the slow sublimation of material from its substantial cold pole ice cap.
Mainworld Geography & Topography[edit]
Beyond the ice cap, most planetary features are impact craters. There is a large active volcano range that crosses the twilight zone near the spinward point.

World Starport[edit]
Bonner has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
The optimistically named Bonner Downport is located at the trailing point on the twilight zone circumference. As of this writing, there is no Highport.
World Technology Level[edit]
Bonner possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government[edit]
Bonner is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
The government owns all technology patents, and "loans" them out to various government and private enterprises, taking a cut of the proceeds in the latter case. Authority over the technologies allows for control over hiring practices, political favors, economic development, and wealth distribution.
The President of Bonner is sometimes called "the Godfather", but it does not appear to be a familial reference. Possibly a obscure fictional or historical reference.
World Law Level[edit]
Bonner has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Military[edit]
The government maintains a land Army and a small space Navy. The Navy is made of at least one destroyer-class missile boat and a handful of system defense boats (SDB), which should be enough to deter most pirates.
World Economy[edit]
Bonner is a typical evolved mining colony. It is supported by a vertical economy of mining, ore processing, finished metal separations, and recently finished construction materials (steel alloy I-beams, etc.) It has limited hydroponic food production capacity, and imports at least 30% of its food from out of system. This need drives a constant flow of large cargo vessels through the system.

Aslan 15%

World Culture[edit]
