The Body Swap Protocol is a legal measure taken to try and control the spread of the Virus.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The regulation of the body swap protocol requires that every jump capable vessel has a crew of at least two humanoids. The protocol is enforced during customs patrols, prior to trade at a starport in Rurevayn Subsector, and also widely used by the Gushemege Merchantile Guild prior to trade in the wilds.

Each ship participating in body swap, has to send a crew member on extra vehicular activity to the other ship, to chat with the crew members, check the books and inspect the computers.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The body swap protocol was established by the Last Sane with the same idea as the Imperial transponder but with opposite objection. The Imperial transponder used the Cymbeline life form to confirm the other ship's status. The body swap protocol instead was established by the Cymbeline life form and used humans to confirm that the other ship was safe and sane.
