Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Blass class Brig is a major security element within the fleet of the Enlightened.
- It is a paramilitary ship and a Brig.
Description (Specifications)
They carry enough fuel, internally for a single Jump-2, with a Jump-2 reserve for strategic withdrawal. They can carry drop tanks with an additional jump 2 as needed. It is an streamlined, saucer fitted with fuel scoops for ocean refueling. This ship carries one triple missile turret, one triple beam laser turret, one dual plasma turret, and one sand caster turret. They are fitted with a model 5 fib computer. Despite the massive drives and power plant fitted, which accounts for most of their construction cost, they have some power left over for 3 agility. They are capable of 5-Gs of acceleration and the computer's power demands reduces the agility. These ships have light hull armor and an Enlightened 2T class Air Raft.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
