Description (Specifications)

The Imperial Ministry of Science defines Biology as the study of Life. It subdivides Life into:

• Conventional Life AKA Wet Life (Organic)
• Unconventional Life AKA Dry Life (Inorganic)
• Exotic Life AKA Strange Life (Neither Organic nor Inorganic), i.e. outside the normally understood parameters

and Biology is subdivided into categories to match:

• Conventional Biology: The study of Organic Life
• Astrobiology: The study of Inorganic Life
• Exobiology: The study of Exotic Life
• Xenobiology: The comparison of biota across these sub-categories

Note, Biology includes those species that have achieved Sentience and are recognised as Sophont.
