Bh'ai has 90% or more of its surface covered in an ocean of water. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Zeda Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Bh'ai, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. 50% of the world's population is the Uplifted Race Dolphin. 40% of the world's population is the Human Chimera Aquan. During the Long Night this world was named Shaar.

Astrography and planetology

Bh'ai is a member of the Dagudashaag Main.

The world orbits a close binary pair in the combined habitable zone. There is an almost idyllic climate in most latitudes, although the oceans can be subject to extremely violent storms. There are a small chain of islands on which all the non-aquatic races live. The largest single island, Khlandra, is home to the only downport and the capital city of Shimane.

History and background

Bh'ai is a beautiful water world with a small human colony, of which there are a growing number of Aquans and a larger number of Dolphins. The climate and scenery has led to a new boom industry, tourism, which can account for a ten fold increase in population at times. The influx of money has initiated the development of a number of aquiculture projects, both to feed the influx of tourist and the financial independence of the world.
