The star Beta Hydri is a yellowish-white subgiant star of spectral classification G0-2.
- It should not be confused with the star Beta Hydrae.
Description (Specifications)
The habitable zone of Beta Hydri where a Terra-norm world could exist is lies at ~1.9AU, at which distance a planet would have an orbital period of ~2.5 years.
History & Background (Dossier)
The Beta Hydri star system lies approximately 7.5pc from Terra, and is located in a Coretrailing/Trailing direction from Terra at bearing 304.8o Galactic Longitude and -39.8o South Galactic Latitude.
