A Basic Cybernetic Foot is a cyberware device.
- It is a replacement for an organic ped or foot.
- The exact size and dimensions of the foot are tailored to match the physical characteristics of the recipient.
Description (Specifications)
A battery powered cybernetic foot constructed from strong lightweight materials. It closely matches the balance and stability provided by an organic foot.
- A Basic Cybernetic Foot replaces approximately 3% of the body in humans. In other sophonts, a foot may represent a greater or lesser percentage of the body.
- It may have a pseudobio appearance, with synthetic skin, silent operation and species-normal body temperatures.
- Some individuals prefer a colorful or bizarre finish or leave the internal mechanics of the foot exposed.
The Basic Cybernetic Foot directly connects to the individual's nervous system, allowing it to be controlled as though it were a natural foot, and provides sensory feedback such as touch, pressure, texture and temperature.
- The foot provides feedback about its power levels and functionality.
- Exceeding the design specifications of the foot cause it to malfunction or in extreme cases cause injury to the individual or tear away from their body.

History & Background (Dossier)
The Basic Cybernetic Foot is a life-like prosthesis designed to replace an organic foot. Its compact nature and relatively light weight allow it to be used to replace a missing organic foot without the need to attach it to a Cybernetic Leg: in such cases is knitted into the body around the ankle.
Similar devices have been in use since the days of the First Imperium. They reached their modern form through Terran medical advances achieved during the Interstellar Wars period.
Upgrades
The foot may not be upgraded.
- Armor: the foot may be fitted with armor, either as an integral feature or as external plates.
