Arodir Subsector saw limited activity by humans prior to the Third Confederation, and what little development there was ended with the Dark Age, nearly two thousand years ago. Almost all development within the region followed the end of the Dark Age and the rise of Development Organizations. A strong social divide exists between wealthy and aristocratic Fives, descended from the original settlers and crew of the Last Armada, and Gens, individuals whose ancestors were grown in GenPods and raised by Hoppers.
